Lakehead Rotarians & Friends
Serve up a hearty meal at the Rotary Shelter House
Rotarian Allan and Lori-Ann Kozlo lead a crew of Rotarians and friends to prepare a meal for the Shelter House on Tuesday, November 17th.  The meal featured beef stroganoff.  Lakehead Rotarians paid for the food, prepared and served the meal at Shelter House.  94 “to go” meals were handed out and 30 were sit down in the dining area.  Leftovers were good for another 40 on the following day.

A lot of positive feedback was received for our service and choice of meal.  Covid-19 protocols were observed – masks included –
and the number of volunteers in the kitchen was limited.  The first shift volunteers were Donald MacDonald, Don Morrison, Shirley DeWilde, Donna Yocom, Karl Ratz, Lori-Ann and Allan Kozlo.  The second shift volunteers were Lori-Ann and Allan Kozlo, Debbie Hyatt, Carolyn Dolcetti, and Brandee Popowich.

Thank you to the Rotarians who donated the funds to buy the food and supplies and big thanks to the RFDA for making up a tasty batch of fresh egg noodles for the stroganoff.  Thank you also to the Rotarians and friends who came out to prepare, cook and serve the meal.
