There are certain moments that tell you Christmas has officially arrived in Thunder Bay, and seeing Santa make his way through our city is one of them.
On Saturday, November 15, the Rotary Clubs of Thunder Bay will proudly bring the 34th Annual Rotary Santa Claus Parade back to our community.
For generations of local families, this parade has been part of growing up in Thunder Bay. It’s little ones bundled from head to toe, sitting on shoulders for a better view, waving at every float that passes and waiting, not-so-patiently, for that one magical moment when Santa finally appears.
And while those children may not remember every float or every song, they’ll remember how it felt. That is why Rotary continues to bring this tradition to our community. It’s about creating memories, bringing families together and giving children something wonderfully simple to believe in and look forward to as the holiday season begins.
For 33 years, thousands of people have lined the streets for this special day. This November, we get to do it all over again. So find the mittens, bring the kids and save the date.
